  • About NW Tamworths
My late husband, John Hinkley, and I got our first Tamworths in 2005. Our boar was from Colorado {Colorado Joe that's him on the left above}. A year later we got our first sow from Virginia, also bred for us in Virginia; that's how difficult it was to find Tamworths.  At the same time we added an unrelated breeding pair of weaners {the boar on the right above is Virginia Ham}. This gave us our future second line so we could provide new breeders with unrelated breeding stock. Two of our very first customers shipped in a couple more Midwestern Tamworths, to add to our breeding pool. To my knowledge, all the Tamworths in the NW stem from these original breeders.

My goal is to continue growing the Tamworth breed and breeders in the NW. I created this simple web page to that end, but it is my private page. I am responsible for it's content, typos and all. Listings on this site are by invitation only and entirely at my discretion. Breeders listed here are not charged any fees. This is not an Association, simply a listing to assist people looking to buy or sell Tamworth pigs.

Thank you for looking at NW Tamworth Pigs.
