Books and Articles

Small-Scale Pig Raising  Dirk van Loon, 1978.  Most excellent overall book, although traditional methods, a great resource for new breeders. {the link is to Amazon - you can preview a few pages and find there are numerous used copies.}

Fertility Farming  Newman Turner, 1956.  One of the most thorough early books on organic farming.  This link is to the "Pig" chapter which you can read online, and many more titles, courtesy of Journey to Forever Library.  You can buy this and other Newman Turner books, just recently republished exclusively by Acres USA.
